MSA Mentoring had a unique concept and approach to educating consumers in the health and financial service markets. Their full service mentoring agency philosophy allowed them to represent these industries as a whole to help educate and inform their clients with tools and strategies as opposed to just selling product.

Create an “established” presence for this newly founded company. Subtly incorporate the owner’s Christian beliefs into the new logo, develop a brand identity strategy and deliver a complete corporate identity package. Most importantly, the design had to be fresh and timeless to reflect the company’s long-term goals.

We wanted to reflect MSA’s unique approach and vision into all of their materials. This allowed us to break away from the traditional design and colors often reserved for the health and financial industries.

The most challenging aspect was the creation of the logo. MSA was a new company and we needed to strike a careful balance. Our design needed to have impact but couldn’t overpower. We also needed to allow MSA time to grow into its new brand and identity. We chose purple due to its strong power association. A deep golden star represented the subtle Christian aspect and paired perfectly with purple. With the logo approved, the rest of the project easily fell into place.

We also designed several promotional products, company manuals and unique two-sided business cards that allowed customization for agents.

Perhaps the most successful element we created were two brochures to present MSA’s mentoring and alternative strategies. The colorful design and the presentation of complex information in an easy to understand format proved to be the perfect combination. The two brochures were so successful that they became MSA’s patented business model!
